One of the world’s largest crypto-exchanges ZB.com has recently undergone a massive hacker attack. According to cybersecurity company PeckShield, the attackers managed to steal $4.7 million worth of digital currency.

According to the source, the hackers received the main “jackpot” from one wallet, which contained about 2200 Ethereum coins. This address alone brought crypto robbers $3.6 million.

It is worth noting that the administration of the exchange concealed the fact of the stoling to the last. ZB unexpectedly closed the possibility of withdrawing funds from the site, which made traders tense. The exchange cited a technical failure as the reason for this decision, which, according to them, led to massive errors in the operation of key services.

It is very sad that the official representatives of the company did not give any comments regarding the situation.
Recall that the ZB exchange ranks 47th in the ranking of the most popular trading platforms, and the number of registered users exceeds 15 million.
